Le Creusot is a picturesque commune located in eastern France in the Bourgogne region in the Saone-et-Loire department. Bourgogne, otherwise known as Burgundy, is probably best known to the rest of the world for its vineyards and famous red wine. Formerly, Le Creusot was a mining town and these days the economy still is dominated by metallurgical companies such as Schneider Electric, Alstom and, of course, Arcelor Mittal. As well as a home of the metal industry, the town has become increasingly popular amongst tourist, mainly owing to the Parc des Combes, which is a theme park in the area that has roller coasters and many other attractions.
