Fraserburgh is a good size town in the north of Scotland and is one of the most important harbours for the area. Most of the vessels that come in are fishing boats and deliver a healthy amount of business into the town. It mainly deals with shellfish but does handle white fish as well as being a commercial port.

Cheap car hire in Fraserburgh makes an excellent base for visiting the attractions in the town that date's back around 400 years. Many of the streets are straight and narrow so they are easy to navigate around. All roads lead to the harbour so you can use that as a reference point.
