Dorchester is a town in the county of Dorset in England. It is a historic market town with ties to Roman times. There is a rich history here and a variety of activities and attractions to enjoy during your stay. Car hire in Dorchester allows you the freedom to explore the town and its surrounding areas.

The central area in Dorchester is the Town Pump. Situated next to the large clock tower and Dorchester's Corn Exchange there is the town's information board, which has details of the great historic walks throughout town. There are many walks to be enjoyed, depending on what you'd like to see.

Through out the town you will notice the beautiful 18th century architecture, large paths and busy shopping streets. The history of the place dates back to the Iron Age, which is evident in the Maiden Castle. With car rental in Dorchester drive a few miles south to reach the Castle.

If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.
