Located in the borough of Northamptonshire is the industrial town of Corby. It is situated around six miles north of Kettering in England's East Midlands. Corby is enclosed by Northampton, Leicester and Peterborough. Corby borough borders the districts of East Northamptonshire and Harborough, as well as Kettering borough.

There are several attractions worth visiting in and around Corby. Kirby Hall is an impressive example of a stone-constructed Elizabethan mansion. It was originally built in 1570 and later altered in the 17th century. There are peacocks to be seen in the beautifully kept gardens.
