Situated in the mountinous Pennines of Yorkshire is the small town of Batley. Most visitors come to the area for its refreshing outdoor recreational opportunities, which Batley provides in the form of the vast Wilton Park, also known to locals as Batley Park, a perfect destination for the whole family. The park contains a small lake, playgrounds and sporting facilities, as well as woodlands, an ornamental garden and historic buildings. Alongside Bagshaw Museum is the Butterfly House, full of many native and tropical butterfies. Nearby is the well hidden Batley Observatory, home to the Batley Astronomical Society.

Wandering around the town, you will discover attractions such as Batley Art Gallery, which exhibits with beautiful works from artists all over the country, and the excellent Skopos Motor Museum, housing one of the most extensive collections of cars in the UK.

On the outskirts of Batley is Oakwell Hall, a well-preserved 17th century building. Here you can stroll along it's many paths, absorbing the landscape as you go. The grounds of this park provide a great route for those cycling or on horse back. Children will love the park as there is so much for them to explore, resembling a very large playground. Visit the moorlands and vast vagetated valleys of the Peak District and South Pennines during your stay. Excellent places for dog walkers and photographers.

Leeds Bradford Airport and Manchester International Airport are the nearest airports offering flights to international destinations. Batley is sandwiched between Leeds, Bradford and Huddersfield within easy reach of several major highways. It is connected to the rest of the UK rail network via Leeds.

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

 Are there any additional costs?

In general, our rates are all-inclusive. Should there be any additional costs, our booking department will get in touch with you before issuing the invoice. Should you object, you can always cancel your reservation with no obligations attached (at least 48 hours in advance).

What kind of insurance is applicable to my car rental?

In general, Liability Insurance, Fire Insurance, All-Risks Insurance and Theft Insurance are included in the cost of your rental car.

 What is a worry-free label?
