Situated in the Pontevedra province of Spain is Vigo, Galicia's largest city. Vigo is known for its port location with beautiful views of the Atlantic. The motorways and railways have a good reputation here as well. Car hire at Vigo Rail Station gives you the chance to start your vacation from a convenient destination.

Vigo Rail Station is located right at the centre and has trains travelling daily between most of the major cities. Cheap car hire at Vigo Rail Station is also easy with the airport of Peinador a quick five miles away. Every year hundreds of cruisers pass through the harbours of Vigo.

Vigo has great climate with mostly warm and sunny days. This weather is perfect for enjoying the city and its surroundings. The old city, Casco Vello is a quaint area fun for exploring. There are unique local goods within the small windy streets and shops of the area. On Sunday the stamp collectors market takes place in the Plaza de la Constitucion.

Drive to the centre of the city, which is known officially as Porta del Sol, where there is the impressive statue of Sireno. The figure is of a man who is half sea creature and half human and was done by Paco Leiro. You will find good restaurants, cafes and bars within the city centre.

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

 Are there any additional costs?

In general, our rates are all-inclusive. Should there be any additional costs, our booking department will get in touch with you before issuing the invoice. Should you object, you can always cancel your reservation with no obligations attached (at least 48 hours in advance).

What kind of insurance is applicable to my car rental?

In general, Liability Insurance, Fire Insurance, All-Risks Insurance and Theft Insurance are included in the cost of your rental car.

 What is a worry-free label?
