Coslada is a city located on the outskirts of the city of Madrid about 20 minutes from the capital's centre by car. The city is known as a dry port and an ideal travel base for visiting the capital city due to its close proximity to it. Coslada is connected to Madrid via the metro lines, commuter trains and regional bus networks although many travellers opt for car hire in order to get around the region.

For travellers who don't want to stay within the chaotic city centre in Madrid, Coslada makes for a great starting point for touring the area. From the city, travellers can drive to the city of Madrid and visit some of its most notable attractions such as the Royal Palace or the Golden Museum Triangle which comprises the world renowned Prado Museum, the National Museum and the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum.  Be sure to visit the National Archaeology Museum, Puerta del Sol and the Real Academia de Bella Artes de San Fernando.

To the other side of Coslada is another notable day trip destination, the Alcala de Henares. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is known for being the birthplace of Cervantes, the famous writer who created the classic Quixote. The town is about 30 minutes to the east of Coslada by car.

The Barajas International Airport is also easily accessible by car. The airport is about 12 minutes from the city to the north and serves flights to several air hubs all over the world.  What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

 Are there any additional costs?

In general, our rates are all-inclusive. Should there be any additional costs, our booking department will get in touch with you before issuing the invoice. Should you object, you can always cancel your reservation with no obligations attached (at least 48 hours in advance).

What kind of insurance is applicable to my car rental?

In general, Liability Insurance, Fire Insurance, All-Risks Insurance and Theft Insurance are included in the cost of your rental car.

 What is a worry-free label?
