Cordoba Airport is located a mere four-mile drive from the centre of Cordoba and is Argentina's third-busiest air hub. Those that wish to navigate Cordoba or take trips to cities such as the capital, Buenos Aires, or even South American neighbours such as Chile and Uruguay usually arrange car hire in Cordoba Airport.

Who to Book With
Cordoba Airport's car hire companies are found on the ground level of the main terminal, in the Arrivals hall. There are just two companies, Hertz and Avis, to choose from.

Driving
Argentina's abundance of beautiful scenery makes driving around the country a worthwhile and rewarding experience. Drivers are advised to have all their documentation with them whenever on the road as police regularly stop vehicles. On roads and highways, car lights should always be switched on – evening during the day. Highways usually only connect the country's largest cities and many places, especially in the south, are only accessed via gravel or dirt roads. This makes four-wheel drive vehicles popular.

Transport

Those driving between Cordoba Airport and the city centre usually use the Avenue Monsenor Pablo Cabrera to complete the journey in around 15 minutes, depending on traffic. Other transport options include buses and taxis.

Trains
There are currently no rail links between the airport and the city. Those travelling from elsewhere in Argentina are able to reach Cordoba by rail directly from Buenos Aires, but there are only two Ferrocentral services per week that cost around £15 per person.

Taxis
REMIS World Car and Transfer Express are two of the main companies that supply taxis between Cordoba and its air hub. Reservations can be made by telephone or email.

Buses
The 394 bus runs between Ezeiza Hopsital in central Cordoba and Cordoba Airport, stopping at Monte Grande Railroad Station on the way. Fares cost around £0.60 per person. A shuttle bus service is available with Manuel Tienda Leon and tickets can be purchased in the Arrivals areas of each terminal.

Facilities

Terminals
Cordoba Airport's main terminal is divided into two parts - TA and TB. Flights in out and of the hub mainly travel between Cordoba and domestic Argentinean destinations or cities around the rest of South America - especially those in Chile and Brazil.

Parking
Parking a vehicle at Cordoba Airport is free for the first 15 minutes. After this period of time, tickets must be purchased for every additional 30 minutes of parking required. Rates currently stand at around £1.25 per hour and around £5 per day.

Wi-Fi
A free Wi-Fi service is provided throughout Cordoba Airport's main terminal.

Information desks are located in the Arrivals areas of TA and TB.

Accessibility
All Argentinean airports are regulated by AA2000, which ensures that all of its hubs have the required infrastructure for those with disabilities. This means that Cordoba Airport is equipped with access ramps, elevators, reserved parking areas, disabled persons’ bathrooms and telephones for the hearing-impaired. Wheelchairs can be made available upon request.

ATMs and money exchanges are located in the Arrivals areas of TA and TB.

Shopping
Newspapers and magazines are available at Diaros Y Revistas on the first floor of the main terminal. Open 25 hs has numerous kiosks throughout the building and there is also a pharmacy. Both terminals TA and TB have branches of Duty Free Shop in their respective Departures areas.
