Cartegena Station Guide

Cartagena Rail Station is just east of the town centre and comes with cheap car hire at Cartagena Rail Station for exploring the Murcia region of Spain. This ancient town is now looking impressive and contains many remains from the days of the Romans.

Such is its worth it is designated a UNESCO World Heritage site and has many excellent museums, such as the National Museum for Underwater Archaeology. There are also military fortresses and facilities within reach with car hire in Cartagena Rail Station, while the promenade and harbour areas are supremely attractive.

Once you have taken in the town and surroundings, you may want to check out the beaches and there are many of them within reach of town with car rental at Cartagena Rail Station.

Major cities within an easy drive of Cartagena include Murcia and Torrevieja, to the north, and Almeria to the south. Torrevieja is on the Costa Blanca and is especially worth a look, with its protected Natural Park and many large beaches, including La Mata and Los Locos. There are also many coves to drive to with car hire in Cartagena Rail Station.

There are many beautiful protected areas within reach of Cartagena, both inland and out at the coast. One very impressive drive from Cartagena is along the Mar Menor coast where there are beaches either side of the sliver of sandbar.

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

 Are there any additional costs?

In general, our rates are all-inclusive. Should there be any additional costs, our booking department will get in touch with you before issuing the invoice. Should you object, you can always cancel your reservation with no obligations attached (at least 48 hours in advance).

What kind of insurance is applicable to my car rental?

In general, Liability Insurance, Fire Insurance, All-Risks Insurance and Theft Insurance are included in the cost of your rental car.

 What is a worry-free label?
