Playa de Las Americas is a tourist magnet and offers its visitors many water-based activities, and it is home to the world famous Octopus Water Park where you can ride the famous 'Kamikaze' water slide. You can go water parasailing, fish for sharks, or try your luck surfing.

For those who prefer to stay dry, there is a new 18-hole golf course open between Playa de Las Americas and neighbouring Los Cristianos. The marina at Puerto Colon is an attractive place where you can stroll around the shops and stop off for a meal or drink to cool off.

Las Americas has a myriad of bars and restaurants around the small island. Eat in an English style pub with the family or head to a club where you will find comedy acts, cabaret shows and DJs. The central seafront areas known as 'Veronicas' and 'The Patch' come to life at night.

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.
