Pineda De Mar Guide

Pineda De Mar is a municipality in the region of Catalonia in Spain. It is easily accessible on the coast via the main highway and railway line. There are various old buildings that date back to the 17th and 19th century that are worth visiting when you are arrive here for your vacation. There is also an old Roman Aqueduct that ran over the Pineda River. You can still see four of the arches today. Santa Susanna and Calella are on either side of this city and you can reach them easily from this city.

There are some quaint and lovely hotels and guest house here, where you will be very comfortable and relaxed during your stay. Some have separate restaurants and cafes, but you will find most of the interesting ones in the centre of the town. You should try the traditional milk pudding and the pork stew with beans, which is a local delicacy. If you want to go to Calella for the day, be sure to pack your swimming outfit, for this area is a popular tourist destination and consists of magical weather and waters.

There are many hotels and large structures lining the beachfront and although this is a hot spot for tourists, may not be ideal if you want a peaceful vacation. This is why to stay in Pineda De Mar is the perfect option. You will get the best of the historic country aspects and the bustling resort style in one place.

 What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

 Are there any additional costs?

In general, our rates are all-inclusive. Should there be any additional costs, our booking department will get in touch with you before issuing the invoice. Should you object, you can always cancel your reservation with no obligations attached (at least 48 hours in advance).

What kind of insurance is applicable to my car rental?

In general, Liability Insurance, Fire Insurance, All-Risks Insurance and Theft Insurance are included in the cost of your rental car.

 What is a worry-free label?
