Llucmajor Guide

Llucmajor is good for those looking to escape the tourist hordes at the main resorts in Majorca and has cheap car hire in Llucmajor. It is 15kms to the east of Palma de Mallorca Airport and can be got to by taxi, shuttle or bus with ease, as it lies on the main Palma-Santanyi highway.

Llucmajor itself is a cute little town that lies at the foot of the Puig de Randa Massif, where there is some fine driving to be had with car rental in Llucmajor. This is a protected area featuring a large variety of flora and fauna and also has a decent amount of hiking.

It is also popular with cyclists as it is on the Cap Enderrocat to Gracia and S'Estanyol route. For beaches, Llucmajor is also the name of the region and they are just south of town with car hire in Llucmajor, where there are huge cliffs and some nice walking.

In the town are one or two sights worth checking out with car rental in Llucmajor, such as the convent of Sant Bonaventura and the Church of San Miguel. This 18th century church is on Plaa Santa Catalina Tomas and is photogenic.

Farther afield on the east coast of the island are some of Majorca's best beaches. They include the likes of Cala D'Or, Cales de Mallorca, and Cala Millor and all have nice beaches and are more laid-back that those in the west. If it's a party atmosphere you're after, head for Arenal with cheap car hire in Llucmajor, which is south of Llucmajor.

 What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

 Are there any additional costs?

In general, our rates are all-inclusive. Should there be any additional costs, our booking department will get in touch with you before issuing the invoice. Should you object, you can always cancel your reservation with no obligations attached (at least 48 hours in advance).

What kind of insurance is applicable to my car rental?

In general, Liability Insurance, Fire Insurance, All-Risks Insurance and Theft Insurance are included in the cost of your rental car.

 What is a worry-free label?
