L 'Estartit is a small town located in Costa Brava, Spain. The town was previously a small fishing village, but now is a thriving tourist holiday destination.

Located to the east of L 'Estartit, about one kilometer off shore, are the beautiful Illes Medes, which are seven islets popular with divers from around the world. The area has been protected by natural park status because it is home to many different species of flora and fauna.

L 'Estartit is the point of departure for many boat trips going to isles Medas and this creates a lot of traffic throughout the summer months and beyond. L 'Estartit has one of the most attractive marinas in the region, as well as a number of superb golf courses, drawing golfers back each year.

En route to L 'Estartit, there are a few eateries that cater to the local cuisine of seafood and chicken. About 400 meters before the first intersection of L 'Estartit, there is a large camp site, great if you enjoy the outdoors. The Mediterranean dry summers and fair winter temperatures encourage great family outdoor camping trips.

About five minutes away is the beautiful small town of Torreolla de Montgri, which holds an international music festival during July.

Book car hire during your stay and drive around L 'Estartit and it's beautiful surrounding's, which cannot be reached using public transport alone.
