Costa Teguise is one of Lanzarote's most popular tourist destinations. Located twenty minutes from the airport, it is convenient and a great place to explore all of the neighboring islands from. Costa Teguise was built as a resort and has been well tended and cared for. With great weather and wide beaches, it's no wonder it has remained so popular over the years.

With golden beaches, you will find it easy to bask in the sun and relax. Water activities such as windsurfing are a major pastime and cycling and golf are both major attractions on the island.

In addition to beach and water fun, there are several tourist attractions you should make time for. Visit Cueva de los Verdes, a tunnel passing through a volcano, created around 3,000 years ago when the volcano Montana La Corona erupted. It is one of the most interesting scientific sights around. The Jameos del Agua is part of the lava tunnels and has been turned into a bar with views of a small natural lake. Next, visit the Jardin de Cactus, Lanzarote's famous cactus garden.

Nightlife at the Costa Teguise resort can be classified as lively with restaurants staying open late and a good selection of bars. The restaurants offer a wide range of cuisine from Chinese to Indian, Mediterranean and International.

There are several hotels in the resort area that will accommodate any budget. The Barcelo La Galea is ideal for families looking for fun, entertainment and piece and quiet. They offer modern facilities in a traditional setting and a great restaurant. Barcelo Lanzarote Hotel is one of the most popular tourist destinations with excellent facilities, diverse cuisine and great entertainment. The Beatriz Costa Spa Hotel is situated among peaceful, tropical gardens and features a salt-water pool, international restaurant, tennis and squash courts.  What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

 Are there any additional costs?

In general, our rates are all-inclusive. Should there be any additional costs, our booking department will get in touch with you before issuing the invoice. Should you object, you can always cancel your reservation with no obligations attached (at least 48 hours in advance).

What kind of insurance is applicable to my car rental?

In general, Liability Insurance, Fire Insurance, All-Risks Insurance and Theft Insurance are included in the cost of your rental car.
