Can Pastilla Guide

Can Pastilla is the most convenient holiday resort on the Balearic island of Majorca. It is situated right in front of Majorca's airport (Palma de Mallorca Airport) and comes with cheap car hire at Can Pastilla, as well as a good range of hotels, and of course a beach.

The resort itself lies on the eastern side of Majorca's Bay of Palma, within walking distance of the airport's terminal, and is especially popular with holidaying natives. It has a surprisingly long, wide, sandy beach which is backed by a promenade and many hotels. Car rental at Can Pastilla is easily accessible.

Options for enjoying water sports in Can Pastilla are excellent and include parasailing, jet-skiing, diving and snorkelling. One of the island's largest water parks is also out this way and the harbour is really impressive.

With car hire in Can Pastilla you can head a few kilometres to the southeast to the buzzing German-centric resort of Al Arenal, or keep going and take in Majorca's beautiful east coast, where the likes of the popular Cales de Mallorca reside.

In addition, the island capital of Palma is just a short drive by major highway from Can Pastilla, while farther around the bay are the party resorts of Magaluf and Palma Nova. For a spot of culture and history, head inland (northwest) to Valldemossa and then Deia with car hire in Can Pastilla; two fascinating mountain towns with plenty of appeal. Slightly north again is Soller and the stunning Port de Soller.

 What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

 Are there any additional costs?

In general, our rates are all-inclusive. Should there be any additional costs, our booking department will get in touch with you before issuing the invoice. Should you object, you can always cancel your reservation with no obligations attached (at least 48 hours in advance).

What kind of insurance is applicable to my car rental?

In general, Liability Insurance, Fire Insurance, All-Risks Insurance and Theft Insurance are included in the cost of your rental car.

 What is a worry-free label?
