Calas De Mallorca Guide

Guide

Calas De Mallorca is a beautiful resort on the east coast of the large Balearic island of Majorca. It has fine beaches, hotels and beautiful food in its many scenic restaurants.

This place is good for escaping the hustle and bustle of Mallorca; meaning the likes of Palma Nova and Magaluf in the south. While these are fascinating resorts for the party animal, if you have a family or are a couple looking for a bit of peace and tranquility, you can't go wrong with Calas De Mallorca. Book a hire car and explore the islands coast at a leisurely pace.

The main beaches, which are all accessible by car, are Cala Domingos Grans, Cala Domingos Petis, and Cala Antena. They are all stunning places, all with umbrellas to buy and beach activities to join in, and many of the hotels have fantastic locations on cliffs overlooking the beaches and sea, great for taking some photos.

Nearby are the beaches of Cala Romantica and Cala Murada, which are also easily accessible by car. Also nearby is the Jumaica Tropical Park; a must for those with kids with its animals and gardens to explore.

You could also head north by car and check out the even more laidback resort of Cala Galdana, which is within reach of flashy Porto Cristo. You could also head inland to the major town of Manacor, or keep heading north and drive around the huge beach of Alcudia.
