Calan Bosch Guide

Choosing which water sport to do is the sea lover's biggest problem in Cala'n Bosch on the island of Menorca, Spain.

Near the town center are two small sandy beaches. Cala'n Bosch beach is the smaller one, closer to the marina, and is primarily a sunbather and swimmer's beach. The beach at San Xoriguer is the one to head for if water sports are your thing.

San Xoriguer beach is a longer beach and offers a wide variety of water sports such as sailing, wind surfing, parasailing, fishing, and scuba diving. For an adventure, hire a catamaran or motorboat and explore one of the eight pristine bays along the coast. The Surf n' Sail Menorca Water Sports Center offers instruction in all water sports and has a great water-skiing course for beginners. Children are always welcome at this sports center.

If you do have children, certainly bring them along for this relaxing vacation. Banana boat rides are a favorite with children. Cala'n Bosch also offers kids a water park, go-karts, and more activities. Cala'n Bosch is quieter than other resorts on Menorca and is perfect for families.

Cala'n Bosch is located on the extreme southwestern coast of Menorca. The town center surrounds the focus of the town, a beautiful man-made marina. Around the marina you find most apartments, hotels, restaurants, and shopping. You are almost guaranteed a great view of this sparkling marina.

Developed in the 1980's, this modern resort exudes relaxation. After a fun day at the beach, take a quiet stroll along the marina. In the evening, stalls selling local crafts open up along the promenade. After shopping, enjoy Menorcan and international cuisine nearby. Top off the evening with a glass of 'herbas dulces', a local liqueur of aniseed and herbs.

Couples and families alike will long remember their relaxing vacation in the picturesque resort of Cala'n Bosch.

 What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

 Are there any additional costs?

In general, our rates are all-inclusive. Should there be any additional costs, our booking department will get in touch with you before issuing the invoice. Should you object, you can always cancel your reservation with no obligations attached (at least 48 hours in advance).

What kind of insurance is applicable to my car rental?

In general, Liability Insurance, Fire Insurance, All-Risks Insurance and Theft Insurance are included in the cost of your rental car.

 What is a worry-free label?

 How can I change or cancel my reservation?

You can cancel your reservation through "My Account". We recommend contacting us by phone if your changes to your booking or cancellation takes place at short notice (48 hours or less).

Most reservations will receive confirmation within minutes after payment takes place. We recommend contacting our Booking Department for last minute reservations (pick-up within 48 hours).
