Rzeszow Guide
Rzeszow is a city in the south-eastern part of Poland and within 50 miles of the borders of Ukraine and Slovakia. For centuries it has been a private town, owned by the Lubomirski family. There are some fascinating sites from castles to the quaint Old Town with its characteristic streets and buildings.
Cheap car hire in Rzeszow is the best choice for travelling around the city limits. The Lubomirski Palace dates back to the 18th century as is now used as the official courthouse, so only a walk around the outside is allowed. The Town Hall is another impressive building, constructed in the late 1500s.
Some other attractions in the city include two synagogues, the larger renovated in the 20th century. The city is located in Wislok Valley and the river of the same name passes through the centre of town. Cycling is great way to travel around the Old Town as there are a number of cycle paths to navigate.
There are an array of museums and galleries across the city, all easily reached by using a car rental in Rzeszow. Many of the galleries have rotating displays of new and old work so there is always something to see from new artists.
There are many bars in the city with some having that western European theme of Irish drinking holes. There are also a number of caf?�s and restaurants that serve food well into the evening. They are easily reached by driving in a car hire at Rzeszow. Most are located in the central area of the city.
