Karasjok Guide

Karasjok is the capital city of the Sami people of Norway. It is also home to the Sami parliament, the S??mediggi. Apart from this, the city does not really offer a lot in terms of tourist attractions but it can serve as a good day trip destination or travel base for exploring the county of Finnmark.

With a car rental in Karasjok, visitors can get around notable sites in the city before going out to more popular travel destinations. Aside from the Sami Parliament, the Sami Museum and the church built in 1807 are worth visiting as well. The church is a known attraction because it was inspired by Sami architectural designs.
