I extended the rental period

I extended the rental period with 2 extra days with Budget without any problems. However it proved impossible to extend the extra insurance I had taken out from Traveljigsaw (using carrentals.co.uk) with 2 days to cover the extra days. Disappointing!

Amstelveen is a municipality that was once known as Nieuwer-Amstel and is located in the North Holland province. This is a small town and thought of to be just a residential place.

This town is the home of many museums of modern art like the Museum van der Togt. This museum holds a collection of unique glass, and in the summer you can visit here on a historic tram called the Electrische Museumtramlijn. You will also find the Bosmuseum, which is dedicated to the historical information about this town. The Cobra Museum voor Moderne Kunst hosts modern art work from the Cobra group and was founded in 1948 by Danish, Belgian, and Dutch artists. They are actually the ones who introduced the Netherlands to modern art.

There are also a few parks in Amstelveen, one being the Amsterdamse Bos. This is a very lovely park where you can take a picnic, play sports, and just ramble for hours with friends and family. There is also a great Bed and Breakfast here called Mila's where you will feel relaxed and have the chance to enjoy one of the great parks. It is a wonderful place for children to visit too, because they will have so much to do.

You can't forget about the shops, cafï��s, and restaurants when you are on a trip, and there is plenty of that at the Binnenhof, which is the largest shopping cenetre in the Netherlands. Plus, if you stay at Mila's Bed and Breakfast, you will only have to take a 10 minute walk to get there. If you don't want to have to walk, or rely on public transport then don't worry, there are many great car hire companies that provide car rental in Amstelveen that are ready to cater to all your travel needs.
