I extended the rental period

I extended the rental period with 2 extra days with Budget without any problems. However it proved impossible to extend the extra insurance I had taken out from Traveljigsaw (using carrentals.co.uk) with 2 days to cover the extra days. Disappointing!

If you are in the Netherlands, you can't leave without seeing the eastern city known as Almelo. This is a city that is said to have about 72,000 people living there. This city is well known for the castle that lies within the city limits. This is a castle that was the castle of the Counts Of Almelo. As you can guess, this city is well known for its history, but there is a lot more to see and do when you get there.

Many people find themselves in Almelo on their way to Germany, because they lost their passports and there is a passport office there. However, why they are stopped in this small town they see that it has a lot of interesting sights to see. Although your stay may be short, you will not want to leave without doing some shopping on the main street. When you start to get hungry, you should stop in and see the Old Waag, which is a very well known restaurant in that area.

If you have the time when you are in Almelo, you might as well take one of their bicycle tours. A lot of these tours take you down old creeks and pretty mills. Most of these sights look like they have been taken right out of a Hollywood movie. This is one town that you are sure never to forget. One of these tours even takes you to the Huize Almelo, which is a very old castle. There is also an area where you can go and see decorated walls of a tunnel that use to be open to railway stations. However, it is now closed to all trains. What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

Are there any additional costs?

In general, our rates are all-inclusive. Should there be any additional costs, our booking department will get in touch with you before issuing the invoice. Should you object, you can always cancel your reservation with no obligations attached (at least 48 hours in advance).

What kind of insurance is applicable to my car rental?

In general, Liability Insurance, Fire Insurance, All-Risks Insurance and Theft Insurance are included in the cost of your rental car.

What is a worry-free label?
