Driving
Although driving is fairly easy, parking in the historic downtown area of Parma is very tricky. Streetside parking is hard to find, but there are several car parks on the edge of town. The largest parking garage is right behind Teatro Due. The city centre can only be accessed by cars with a local tag to limit congestion, but this system is usually turned off after midnight. All motorists are required by law to keep a warning triangle and reflective safety vest in their vehicle. Most petrol stations accept credit cards at the pump.
