Forli Airport is just a short distance from the town of Forli in the Emilia-Romagna region of northeastern Italy. Driving
The north of Italy boasts well-developed motorways known as autostrade. Most motorways have toll stations and drivers are advised to hold on to their tickets until they have exited such roadways. The Polizia Stradale Highway Patrol operate in both marked and unmarked vehicles, and are always on the look-out for drivers who flout traffic regulations, with fines for dangerous driving or speeding. Transport

Passengers arriving at Forli Airport usually self-drive to Forli along Via Decio Raggi or Viale Roma. Depending on traffic, the journey can take less than 10 minutes. Other transport options include the Aerobus to Forli Railway Station or taxis.

Trains
There are no rail links at Forli Airport but it is possible to travel the short distance by bus or taxi to Forli Railway Station, from where it is possible to connect with Trenitalia trains to Bologna and other destinations around Italy.

Taxis are available from outside the main terminal at all hours of the day. The service is provided by Taxi Forli and rates for a trip into Forli from the hub stand at around £12 per four passengers and then about £1 for each additional person thereafter.

Buses
A shuttle bus provides transport between Forli Airport and Forli Railway Station. It runs from 12:55 until around 23:00 each day. A ticket costs around £1 per person.

Terminals
The sole main terminal of Forli Airport is used by a single airline, Wizz Air. Transport is provided by this carrier between Forli Airport and mainly eastern European destinations, such as Bucharest, Sofia and Timisoara. The hub is an entry point for Bologna and destinations along Italy's east coast and in the mountainous north.

Parking
Forli Airport offers 810 parking spaces in its single lot, which is located around 100m from Arrivals. Reservations aren't necessary. Charges are around £1.30 per hour or around £10 per day.

Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi is available in the Check-in and Departures areas of Forli Airport. Using this service for 1 hour costs around £1.80, while 24 hours-worth of surfing costs around £4.50.
