Car rentals are great. Love the website, easy to use, great offers and if cancel 48hrs before always get money back. Love car rentals and will use again/always use. I’ll just avoid Italy car rent as worst experience ever had hiring a car and done it loads over the years.

Sondrio Guide

The town and commune of Sondrio is called the in Province of Sondrio. This small town located in the Lombardy region of Italy has about 23,000 people. In the summer months that numbers climbs dramatically. Sondrio is a very historic city in Italy as much of the cities are. The town is very famous for their vineyards which produce two of the most famous wines to come from these vineyards are the Sassella and the Grumello.

Sondrio is the perfect vacation spot in Italy; they have some of the best Mediterranean weather. The warmer weather runs from April to November which is also peak vacation time. But Sondrio offers mild winters so any time is a good time to visit. The Commune of Sondrio offers may beautiful sites in addition to the beautiful vineyards. Located in the heart of the town you will find the famous Garibaldi Square. If you are into Italian art then you may be interested in seeing the Art and History Museum of Valtellina which is located at the Palazzo Sassi.

If you are looking to for more adventure, you can visit on of the nearby larger cities such as Milan or Genoa. Sondrio, Italy has some of the finest hotels. You can choose from the Bellevue Hotel, the Hotel Vallechiara, Genziana Hotel or the Della Posta Hotel. But of course, nothing can compare to Italian Cuisine. There are just so many to choose from. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.
