Car rentals are great. Love the website, easy to use, great offers and if cancel 48hrs before always get money back. Love car rentals and will use again/always use. I’ll just avoid Italy car rent as worst experience ever had hiring a car and done it loads over the years.

Feltre is located in the basin of the Valbelluna River in the province of Belluno in northern Italy. The city is bordered on the north by the Feltrine Mountains, a part of the pre-Alps and an area known for its great skiing. To the south the city is bordered by the impressive Mount Tomatico. Due to its strategic location, the town was contested and ruled by a number of aristocratic families until 1404, when a centuries-long period of Venetian rule commenced.

During this time, a wealthy merchant class emerged, resulting in a blossoming of culture and art in the city. The town has a number of beautiful churches and its frescoes have given it the nickname 'The Painted City'. The city also has several art museums housing works by Italian masters.

The walled city is a marvel of Renaissance art and architecture and today its hotels reflect that heritage. There are a number of highly rated hotels in the city including the four-star Hotel Residence Casagrande.
