A small town called the Citta Di Castello is located in the province of Perugia and located near the river Tiber. This town has many things to do and see. As with all small towns throughout many places of Italy, much of the architecture here has stood for centuries and many of the buildings are exquisite masterpieces that have withstood the test of time. For starters, the beautiful Baroque-style building Palazzo del Podesta is a sight to see where many tourists love taking in the views of the old-style architecture. Nearby the Palazzo, though, is the Cathedral, which was built in the 14th Century. This building has plenty of Gothic structures from history and is an ornately built Cathedral, which is also a popular tourist site. A couple of the other fantastic structures in Citta Di Castello, however, include the Torre Civica as well as the Palazza Vitelli.

There are also several museums around the area to visit and enjoy if you're going to be taking a vacation in Citta Di Castello or the surrounding area. First, the Capitolo Museum displays many pieces of gold-work from the 14th and 15th Centuries.
