Car rentals are great. Love the website, easy to use, great offers and if cancel 48hrs before always get money back. Love car rentals and will use again/always use. I’ll just avoid Italy car rent as worst experience ever had hiring a car and done it loads over the years.

Catanzaro Guide

Catanzaro: capital and seat of Calabria's regional government, home to all regional departments and institutions. Be able to enjoy the breathtaking sights and melodic sounds of a city known as the �City of the three hills�, while staying at one of its many intriguing hotels located both in and around the city of Catanzaro. Grab a car from one of the car hire places located around the International Lamezia Terme airport, and drive on Highway 280 dei Due Mari or even Highway 106 Jonica to other Calabrian cities, or along the coast - because all roads lead back to Catanzaro, a main road junction in itself.

Hire a car, travel on foot, take a subway train or railway train, or even an urban bus to travel to such magnificent sceneries as the Court of Appeal, the Duomo (a cathedral rebuilt on a Norman cathedral site only to be reconstructed again after being destroyed by bombing in 1943), the historic center's Teatro Politeama, the Silk Museum (displaying as well as celebrating the city's processing and marketing of silk), Statue to the fallen of World War, La Casa della Memoria (the House of Memory) along with countless other cultural, memorial, and historical points of interest, including libraries, villas, gardens, gastronomical fares, theaters, universities and academies.

Or even use a car hire and drive in and around the city's coastal and urban neighborhoods, the marina, and hills to experience a Catanzaro that is not as �touristy�; driving along villages that have now been incorporated into Catanzaro over the past twenty years or so, through new bridges built to seal its expansion that stretches from the center of the Gulf of Squillace towards the central position of the Calabrian region.

 What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

 Are there any additional costs?

In general, our rates are all-inclusive. Should there be any additional costs, our booking department will get in touch with you before issuing the invoice. Should you object, you can always cancel your reservation with no obligations attached (at least 48 hours in advance).

What kind of insurance is applicable to my car rental?

In general, Liability Insurance, Fire Insurance, All-Risks Insurance and Theft Insurance are included in the cost of your rental car.
