Driving
Driving in the cities can be confusing due to the many one-way systems. Traffic is also an issue and can add to the journey time. Outside of the cities, a road atlas will come in handy as the country roads tend to be poorly signposted. Toll roads are common and well maintained; however, they usually only take cash so carry change with you on long journeys. Petrol stations are common but not all accept foreign cards so carry cash for refuelling.
