Bari Airport serves the capital of the beautiful Apulia region of Italy, Bari. It is located five miles from the city centre and is sufficiently integrated into Italy's great network of highways. The latter is especially useful when accessing national highway A14, which runs along Italy's Adriatic coast. Highway SP73 goes straight to Bari city centre from the airport. Public transport is available, with several reliable taxi and bus companies on hand.
Taxis
Two taxi companies operate at Bari Airport: Apulia Taxi and Nuova Co.Ta.Ba. Cabs are metered but travellers have the option of pre-fixed fares or hiring services by the hour. Buses
There are a number of bus companies providing transfer services between Bari Airport and destinations within and outside Bari. Amtab buses leave the airport for the city centre at A. Moro Square every 40 to 60 minutes, stopping at Viale Europa, Via B. Buozzi, Via Piccinni and Corso Italia. The travel time is around 30 to 45 minutes and the one-way fare is about £0.70. Bari Airport has one terminal building which is shared by domestic and international passengers. The Departures area spans one floor while the another floor is dedicated to Arrivals. British Airways regularly flies direct from London-Gatwick, while Ryanair flies from London-Stansted. EasyJet has seasonal flights from London-Gatwick.
Parking
