Famously referred to as 'the pride of mountains', Mt. Pelion is a popular attractions for many tourists visiting the area. It casts a shadow on the landscape, has a beautiful shoreline, with many quaint villages and impressive churches, all combining to create a very unique atmosphere. Visit the Grand Town Hall constructed with the inspiration from Mt. Pelion.

Opposite here is Anavros Park displaying a collection of works by modern sculptors.

Within the town of Volos are numerous bars and nightclubs, offering its party-goers an active nightlife. For places to eat out travellers will come across a range of modern international, and traditional restaurants. For a taste of local cuisine try the 'Tsipouradika' bars, a specialty here are the schnapps which have been distilled from grapes.

Opt for car hire in Volos and drive out of town into the lush, green countryside to marvel in its hidden treasures. Inland, a short 19minute drive west of Volos is the prehistoric settlement of Sesklo, exhibiting ancient acropolis remains dating back to 6000 BC, as well as the foundations of its ancient palace. Another option is to head south along the coastal road to the town of Sourpi, which is completely surrounded by beautiful olive groves. The taverns here are well known for its delicious liver based 'kokoretsi'.

 What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

 Are there any additional costs?

In general, our rates are all-inclusive. Should there be any additional costs, our booking department will get in touch with you before issuing the invoice. Should you object, you can always cancel your reservation with no obligations attached (at least 48 hours in advance).

What kind of insurance is applicable to my car rental?

In general, Liability Insurance, Fire Insurance, All-Risks Insurance and Theft Insurance are included in the cost of your rental car.

 What is a worry-free label?
