To get to Patmos tourists must travel to Athens International Airport, then take the Blue Star Ferry service from Piraeus to Patmos. Another option is to fly to Kos Island Airport then take the ferry direct to Patmos. Prebook ferry tickets online in advance of travel to ensure of a place on the ferry, and to coincide with your travel plans.

Buses operate from Skala, which is the main port in Patmos and travel to Chora, Grikos and to Kambos.
