Not long ago, Keramoti was a small fishing village in northern Greece. Today, Keramoti's scenic location surrounded by a beautiful beach and near Greece's largest damp forest region known as Kodja Orman is starting to attract tourists searching for a more tranquil alternative to Greece's more crowded beach resorts.

The city of Kavala is 40kms away by car rental in Keramoti, while the closest airport, Kavala-Megas Alexandros Airport, is 10kms away by car hire in Keramoti. The scenic island of Thasos lies just a short 30 minute ferry ride from Keramoti.

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.
