Agia Pelagia is a fishing village on the Greek island of Crete. The small fishing town is situated in a large bay ideal for a fishing harbor making fishing the main industry of the area. The small village of Agia Pelagia is just 23kms from the capital of Crete, Heraklion. Car hire in Agia Pelagia is a good option to tour the rest of the island of Crete, a famous beach resort island for tourists from all over Europe.

Accommodation in Agia Pelagia is widespread as the small town is popular with vacationing Europeans during the summer months. The town itself offers an expanse of white sand beaches and tourism for the town has been steadily increasing over the last several years.

With car rental at Agia Pelagia, visitors can tour sites such as the post-Minoan graves and the University of the 4th century BC. The site where these are located is believed to be there grounds where the ancient city of Apollonia once thrived. Evresi cave, nearby Agia Pelagia, is also worth visiting, and is according to legend the site where locals found the icon of Agia Pelagia for which the fishing town is named.

Visitors can also drive the 23kms to Heraklion with cheap car hire at Agia Pelagia. Heraklion is the fourth largest Greek city, and the capital of the island of Crete. In Heraklion visitors may wish to check out its local history which includes sites and architecture from the Byzantine, Venetian, and Ottoman eras.

 What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

 Are there any additional costs?

In general, our rates are all-inclusive. Should there be any additional costs, our booking department will get in touch with you before issuing the invoice. Should you object, you can always cancel your reservation with no obligations attached (at least 48 hours in advance).

What kind of insurance is applicable to my car rental?

In general, Liability Insurance, Fire Insurance, All-Risks Insurance and Theft Insurance are included in the cost of your rental car.

 What is a worry-free label?

 How can I change or cancel my reservation?

You can cancel your reservation through "My Account". We recommend contacting us by phone if your changes to your booking or cancellation takes place at short notice (48 hours or less).

 When will I get a confirmation of my booking?

Most reservations will receive confirmation within minutes after payment takes place. We recommend contacting our Booking Department for last minute reservations (pick-up within 48 hours).
