Neuperlach is located in the south of Munich, close to Munich's university and Sudfriedhof station. Many of Munich's hotels and guesthouses are located here as well as car hire depots, which are available for those who wish to explore the Bavarian countryside near Munich.

Explore Munich

There is so much to see and do in and around Munich. You should ideally spend two or three days exploring the sights of the city. Parking is difficult in the city centre so you are best to park your car in the park and ride car parks located close to the city centre.

There are many German palaces and castles to visit around Munich. Some are close to the city centre; others can be reached by car. Close to the city is the Residenz and the Baroque palace Schloss Nymphenburg, which is located near to the Marienplatz. A short drive away is the Schloss Schleissheim which has a great beer garden in the palace grounds to relax and enjoy a cold beverage.

Opting for car hire as your main form of transportation during your stay in Munich gives travellers the freedom to discover the stunning scenery of the Alpine region, as you drive along the Alpinestrasse. Visit Zugspite, the largest mountain in Germany, for great panoramic views of the Alps.

For a more sobering day out, visit the Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site Tour. A guided tour will explain the history of what took place at the Dachau Concentration Camp. Open every day except Monday. Parking is available on site.

 What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

 Are there any additional costs?

In general, our rates are all-inclusive. Should there be any additional costs, our booking department will get in touch with you before issuing the invoice. Should you object, you can always cancel your reservation with no obligations attached (at least 48 hours in advance).

What kind of insurance is applicable to my car rental?

In general, Liability Insurance, Fire Insurance, All-Risks Insurance and Theft Insurance are included in the cost of your rental car.

 What is a worry-free label?
