Germany has a lot to share and one is definitely the Southern town of Nagold at the Northern Black Forest border. The district is Landkreis Calw and anyone with an eye for olden ruins can't escape its irresistible grasp.

The first mention should go for Nagold's city centre where past meets the present; the filigree of wooden houses and modern-age architecture is bound to raise a few eyes in admiration of this semi-old world charm. To the soul in constant hunt of quietude, the array of the small, surrounding villages (Emmingen, Iselshausen, Pfrondorf, Vollmaringen and the others) shall provide a relief as calm and serene as the 60-mile long river from which the place borrowed its name.

When talking about serenity, there must also be relaxation. That brings us to Bad Liebenzell; this spa (or in a better tone - the climatic health resort) also has adjoining gardens that replenish the energy for the long strolls ahead. And when it comes to the signature attraction of Nagold - the stately Liebenzell Castle - perhaps you shall require another session of it, but this time at the Paracelsus thermal baths. Round it up with a hearty meal at the restaurant built alongside the castle wall, if you want to keep aside the aqua-robics, the candlelit swimming and the midnight saunas for another day.

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.
