Driving

Strasbourg Airport is one of the major international airports of France's Alsace region. Visitors arriving here can take the tram or a taxi to Strasbourg, which is located only six miles to the northeast. Or visitors can self-drive to the city. Route D221 directly connects the airport with route D400 and route A35 for Strasbourg.
Trains
A railway station, found outside the airport, is accessible via a covered footbridge. Trains are run by Transport Express Régional (TER). Trains for Strasbourg depart every 15 minutes, with the total journey taking only nine minutes. A single-journey ticket is around £2.
Taxis
Taxis are available right outside the Arrivals area. Strasbourg city centre is an easy 15-minute drive from the airport. Services rendered at night and extra luggage imply additional charges.

Buses
There is an airport shuttle which departs from outside the Arrivals area, taking passengers to the Baggersee tram station. Buses leave every 20 to 40 minutes. The ride takes about 12 minutes and costs around £4. From the tram station, travellers can make onward connections to Strasbourg city centre and its environs.

Strasbourg Airport has one terminal building where most of the airport facilities are located. It is an important airport for the region, having received more than one million passengers in 2011.
