The airport at Saint Tropez is located fifteen kilometers to the southwest of the city. The terminal at the airport has the capability of handling up to 40,000 passengers per year and is located in the center of the forest of the Moors. In addition, there are three pleasant hotels located within twenty minutes of the facility.

FlyBaboo is the main airline to serve the area. Heli Air Monaco, Aero Club of Saint Tropez and Azure Helicopter are the other three companies that fly to Saint Tropez. It has been stated that the commercial development of this airport has enhanced the area's economy.

The town of Saint Tropez, with its 5,600 residents, is located on the Mediterranean coastline in the south of France, is also referred to as the French Riviera. It is known primarily for catering to famous and wealthy guests and is called the Marbella of France. The arts, beaches, climate, history and yachting all contribute to tourism being the city's major industry. The sport of yachting enjoys its annual regatta every October and attracts competitors with yachts up to fifty meters in length.

The numerous beaches of the area offer water activities and sports such as canoeing, sailing, and windsurfing, but there is no lack of power boats and jet skis. Some of the beaches are private with their own huts and some are public. There are also a few that cater to the naturist as well.
