Bringing large numbers of visitors to France's third largest city, the Lyon Rail Station De Perrache is a large facility situated in the heart of the downtown area. The Lyon Rail Station De Perrache is a major rail hub where several of the network's key lines meet. The TGV high speed service from Paris reaches the station at the conclusion of the southeast line while Line A of the Lyon Metro also terminates at the station. Additionally, the Lyon Rail Station De Perrache is the terminus for the two lines of the city's tram service. Destinations such as Saint-tienne, Bourgoin-Jallieu, Ambrieu, Roanne, Villefranche, Vienne and Bourg-en-Bresse are also easily reached from the station. In spite of its importance to Lyon, the De Perrache Rail Station is actually the city's second most significant station, with Gare de Lyon Part Dieu serving as its primary rail facility.
