Limoges Rail Station, officially Gare de Limoges Benedictins, provides good train services to most regional cities, with trains travelling direct to Paris and Toulouse. From Paris, passengers are able to travel via a high speed TGV train from Gare Montparnasse to Poitiers followed by a regional train to Limoges. The trip from Paris to Limoges takes about three hours.

The Limoges Rail Station is one of the best known buildings in Limoges. It features a vaulted ceiling, stained glass Art Deco windows and a bell tower topped with a copper dome.
