Lille's infrastructure is excellent, with a wide range of accommodations for all budgets and numerous restaurants, bars and cafs. Wander through the Vieux lille (Old Town) and enjoy the Flemish architecture from the 17th century. The Grand Place and Place du Theatre are not to be missed, and the Muse de Beaux-Arts has one of the finest collections of art in France.

Lille Europe Rail Station serves high speed TGV trains and Eurostar. The station is connected to Lille's main station, Lille Flandres, via an underground passage. Built in 1993, the Lille Europe Rail Station is a through station for trains traveling between the UK, Belgium and the Netherlands. The Lille Europe Rail Station features complete facilities for passengers including telephones, ATMs, public toilets, snack shops, newsagents and rental car agents.

If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.
