Located on the most northerly reaches of the Cherbourg peninsula, the Port of Cherbourg offers various ferry routes to England and Ireland. Rossaire can be reached with Irish Ferries on one of its thrice weekly crossings which take 17 hours, or you can take the Celtic Link vessel, also leaving three times a week, taking just over 18 hours.
