Calvi-Sainte Catherine Airport is located on the French island of Corsica. Despite only serving as a secondary gateway to the island, the airport has a busy schedule of services to destinations both within France and other destinations in Europe. The charming town of Calvi is only six kilometres away, a short 10-minute drive from the airport.

Four airlines operate out of the airport. Air France's Paris-Orly scheduled flight provides a convenient service for both French and foreign travellers wishing to access the region. CCM Airlines flies to and from the airport to Marseille and Nice. International schedules to Bonn and Cologne are run by TUIfly, while transavia.com flies to Amsterdam in the Netherlands.

One compact terminal is home to eight check-in counters. The terminal is generally not crowded and therefore a pleasant space to spend time while waiting for your flight to depart. The airport's car park has 200 spaces available for rent by the hour, week or month.

Travel from the airport and into the surrounding region is possible by car hire or taxi. The best option, by far, is car hire, affording you freedom of movement to visit the places you desire to see. The road systems throughout the region, like with the rest of France, are in excellent condition, making driving a pleasure. Taxi is a good option, if your budget allows, but is considerably more expensive.

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

In general, our rates are all-inclusive. Should there be any additional costs, our booking department will get in touch with you before issuing the invoice. Should you object, you can always cancel your reservation with no obligations attached (at least 48 hours in advance).

What kind of insurance is applicable to my car rental?

In general, Liability Insurance, Fire Insurance, All-Risks Insurance and Theft Insurance are included in the cost of your rental car.

 What is a worry-free label?
