The Bourges Rail Station is a five-minute drive from the centre of town. It is not on the high-speed TGV line but is served by the slower Corail and TER trains. Approximately 15 daily trains connect Bourges with Paris Austerlitz Station via Orlans; the journey taking one hour and 45 minutes. Other rail lines link the town with Lyon, Clermont-Ferrand, Limoges and Tours.

Inside the station, you will find amenities for passengers such as cash dispensers, lavatories, telephones, newsagents and refreshment stands. Car hire facilities are also available at the Bourges Rail Station, and you can easily book a rental car online in advance.
