Anders-Loire Airport, with its location over 12 miles (20kms) north of the French city of Angers, serves as an important link between the region and Southampton in the UK. Two service providers offer daily scheduled and chartered flights between the two cities.

Despite serving only one destination, Anders-Loire Airport provides a useful link to the UK for French travellers and vice versa for British passengers landing here. Daily flights to Southampton are offered by Flybe.com and Eastern Airways, two small but reputable companies.

The airport's single terminal hosts a shop, a fast food restaurant and a bar to sit back and relax at while waiting to board your flight to Southampton. Passengers are advised to check their hand luggage for liquids which are prohibited.

There are a number of convenient options for travel between the airport and surrounding areas. A shuttle bus runs from the SNCF station in Angers to the airport two hours before flight departure times.

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.
