What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Regrettably I think you need to do a lot more work with Hertz to make them understand what your package contains, and that it really is pointless for them to try and sell the same thing twice - although I do believe that is why we were given a sub-standard car, as the person serving us had one set of keys ready, but swapped them over when we said that we weren't taking the Hertz premium package as we were covered by the carrentals agreement.
