By car

There is no train system on Cyprus, but many people use European or UK rail systems en route to the island in combination with ferries.
By bus
Buses connect the majority of towns and villages in Cyprus at a reasonable cost, and run fairly regularly, Monday through Saturday, although they can be erratic at times. No buses run on Sundays and public holidays.
By boat
Limassol is the island's major port, and ferries arrive here from Athens, Patmos, Crete and Rhodes, as well as Israel. The ferry traffic to other destinations is limited however, and getting to the other Greek Islands usually involves changing ferries at Athens or another port.
