Where in Bulgaria can you find an administrative town that has the same name as the province where it lies ? It is in Haskovo Province, where the administrative town has the same name, Haskovo. The land is about 5.543 km? and approximately 279,067 live there. It is said by historian that this town was buid about seven thousand years ago. It is also said that Haskovo is the place where The Bulgarian Empire was born. It was once known for its tobacco, but nowadays the town is mainly producing food, chemistry, textile, knitwear industries, machinery, car rental industry and fabric. The most notable from this city is the statue of Mother Mary and Infant Jesus on the Hill of Youth.

There is also renowned historical museum and an art gallery call Ivan Dimov Dramatic Theatre. It is not long ago renovated by the Government of Bulgaria. There is also an annual traditional Colourful Thrace Sings and Dances folk festival that usually we can see it in Kenana Park. Some famous Bulgarian people was born there. What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.
