Who to Book With
The desks of four car hire companies can be found in the Arrivals hall of the main terminal of Brussels Airport. Europcar, Hertz, Avis and Sixt are open from 06:30 until 23:30. Vehicles are collected from a dedicated car rental car park near Front Park 1.

Driving
Belgium boasts well-developed toll-free motorways that connect cities; however, roads around Wallonia are lesser maintained than those in other parts of the country. Although road signs are in the local languages (Dutch, French and German), English signage is provided in Brussels. Drivers are advised that traffic from the right gets priority on roundabouts. Brussels Airport is easy to reach from the city centre providing drivers follow the ring road for around seven miles. Other transport options include buses, trains, taxis and hotel shuttles. Cycling to the main terminal from the city is an alternative option which isn’t provided by most other airports around the world.
Trains
Trains can be caught from the basement of the main terminal. There are currently four trains per hour that connect Brussels Airport to the Central, North and Midi stations in the city centre. As well as these services, there are direct Belgian Railways services to other destinations around the rest of the country, such as Antwerp and Ghent.
Taxis
Metered taxis are available from directly outside the main terminal and from in front of the main terminal. Official, licensed taxis possess a blue-and-yellow emblem and are most likely supplied by Taxi Hendriks.

Buses
Brussels Airport's bus station is found on Level 0 of the main terminal. De Lijn provides the most services, with an express service to the European quarter serviced by MIVB/STIB, and a typical fare into the city centre costs around £10 per person. AirportExpress services to Antwerp are also offered between 05:00 and midnight on most days.
Terminals
Brussels Airport's main terminal has 54 gates, from where flights to destinations around Belgium, Europe and other continents leave and arrive on a daily basis. The hub is used as a base by the likes of Brussels Airlines, EVA, Jet Airways, Thomas Cooks Airlines, Singapore Airlines and Jetairfly.
Parking
