Greater Rochester International Airport, also known as GRIA is located 6.3 miles West of Rochester, in the state of New York. The airport offers an array of excellent facilities and air services, to suite anyone's needs. The airport has one terminal, at two stories tall, an enclosed garage for parking, and roads with separate ways for arriving and departing traffic. On average, 220 flights operate from more than 20 major cities and 22 other airports from around the world. Car hire is a popular choice for helping tourists to get around freely. Airport Facilities

For passengers at Greater Rochester Airport there are plenty of helpful amenities here. The Canandaigua National Bank and Trust have a number of ATM's located throughout the airport, a Frontier Business Centre, an Information Centre, Lost and Found, free WiFi, Fedex mailing, Conference Rooms, and restrooms.

There are plenty of places to relax and unwind before a flight. Restaurants at the airport include; McDonald's, Famous Famiglia, Euro Cafe, Red Osier, Subway, Gusto, and Dunkin' Donuts. Bars include; Blue Zone, Genesee Pub Alehouse. At the entrance to the terminal visitors will find an AeroMart, and Mrs Fields, TCBY Pretzel Maker. There are also a number of shops offering newspapers, books, cosmetics, duty free, electronics, kids toys and clothing.

Parking is available at the airport. Both long and short stay is possible, but we highly advise you book in advance to secure a parking spot.

Transport

Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz, National and Thrifty operate from desks in the airports terminal. Leading international supplier Alamo also provides car rentals for the airport but its office is located off site, but in the vicinity.

Rochester Transit Service (RTS) operate buses to and from the airport and downtown Rochester. Taxis and Limousines are a great option if you require private transport, however, prices are a lot steeper than taking the bus, which takes around the same time.
