Mesa Falcon Field (FFZ) is a small airport located approximately five miles (8km), northeast of the city of Mesa, in Maricopa County in the US sate of Arizona.  Mesa Falcon Field is one of many public airports found all over the world.

Mesa Falcon Field was founded in 1941 and mainly used as a facility for flight training, which would have been used by the cadets that, at the time, were in the British Royal Air Force. The British also held their training at the airport because it was known to have reliable weather conditions, lack of enemy airpower and also desert terrain, which provided safer training.

Explore Mesa

There are a number of attractions to keep tourists occupied in Mesa. Be sure to visit the Arizona Museum of Youth and the museum of Natural History, the Mesa Amphitheatre, the arts center, red mountain center, the convention center and the brilliant Dobson Ranch Golf Course. For children the Jambo Indoor Amusement Park is great fun.

To the west of Mesa is the city of Phoenix with even more great attractions to enjoy. Visit the Mystery Castle, Phoenix Zoo, the Desert Botanical Gardens, Capitol Museum, the Science Center and the Convention Centre.

In general, Liability Insurance, Fire Insurance, All-Risks Insurance and Theft Insurance are included in the cost of your rental car.
